Google MCM Explained: How Publishers Access AdX Through Partners

Multiple Customer Management (MCM) is Google's framework letting certified partners provide Ad Manager and AdX access to publishers who don't hold their own GAM 360 contract. Since the retirement of older reseller programs, MCM is the standard route to Google's premium demand for small and mid-size publishers.

The two MCM modes

How approval works

Your partner submits each domain to Google. Google reviews content quality, traffic legitimacy, and policy compliance (original content, no prohibited categories, real audience). Typical review runs 2–5 business days, though it can stretch. Common rejection reasons: thin or scraped content, missing ads.txt, traffic that looks purchased, and sites recently flagged elsewhere — fix the cause before resubmitting, because repeated rejections compound scrutiny.

Choosing a parent partner

PubMonetX runs MCM onboarding directly from our console — submit a domain, get policy pre-checks before Google ever sees it, and track approval status in real time.
